Connective Tissue Therapy: This technique is used to manipulate fascia (tissue surrounding muscle) to effectively promote relaxation, vitality and increase awareness. It can be of benefit to almost anyone as it can relieve chronic tension, improve posture and relieve painful symptoms of chronic diseases such as arthritis, tendinitis, TMJ and sciatica.
Trigger Point Therapy: Working on pinpointing precise locations on your body causing pain, referred to as "trigger points", this technique helps to resolve the problem at the source. Trigger point therapy is often the ideal treatment whether you have pain from a sporting injury, an auto accident or bad posture.
Traditional Swedish Massage: Recognized as the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. It is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
Reflexology & Lower Leg Massage: Using pressure points located in each foot that correspond directly to specific organs of the body, reflexology can improve nerve function, raise energy levels and increase circulation. This treatment includes a lower leg massage to help ease away tension.
Head & Neck Massage: The benefits of head and neck massage include release of muscle tension in the neck and shoulders but it is also helpful for those who suffer from tension headaches, eye strain, migraines, sinusitis and chronic neck pain.
Hydrotherapy: Using heat and ice to increase blood circulation, hydrotherapy aides circulation of the immune system's white blood cells, reduces inflammation, heals injured tissue, helps with the removal of waste products, improves well-being and energizes the body. For injuries, alternating applications of heat and cold accelerates healing by improving blood vessel integrity and muscle tone. Heat causes peripheral (surface) blood vessels to dilate or expand. Cold causes peripheral blood vessels to constrict and drives blood back to the organs. This treatment is combined with a soothing Swedish massage.
Sport Massage: As an important part of sports training and the recovery process, various techniques are used to relieve muscle soreness, stimulate circulation and increase flexibility.
Medical Massage: Specific musculoskeletal pathologies can be addressed by integrating a variety of modalities. These pathologies are: carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder, golfer's elbow, herniated/bulging disc, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff tear, sciatica, shin splints, strains/sprains, tendinitis, tennis elbow, thoracic outlet syndrome, TMJ disorder and whiplash.
Aroma Massage: Taking your massage experience to another level by using a blend of essential oils can be incorporated into your massage at a minimal cost.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM BOOKING A NUTRITION CONSULTATION?
Whether you need a complete diet overhaul with my 12-week nutrition program or are looking to manage a medical condition or want to fine-tune your food choices or get inspiration for new, healthy recipes, a nutritional consultation can be for you.
My recommendation is to book your appointment after you have received a check up with your primary care provider. I will need to see your most current blood profiles. (within 6 months) This can help inform me whether you have any specific conditions that can be addressed with nutrition such as, elevated blood sugar, high cholesterol or blood pressure issues.
While some clients I see come in for a nutrition consultation to learn more about how their food choices affect their health, others end up in my office at their doctor's suggestion. The following are just a few of the conditions that can improve specifically from dietary interventions:

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION
In my consultations I ask about your goals. I will review your medical history, including any medications and supplements you're currently taking. You will receive a comprehensive analysis of your blood test report. Then I will dive into your lifestyle to get a sense of your stress levels, sleep patterns, energy levels, exercise and gastrointestinal function.
With that guidance, I can begin to discuss your dietary preferences and cooking habits and identify trouble spots, like skipping breakfast or late-night snacking. From there, I'll develop some initial recommendations to help you start eating healthier.
HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS WILL I NEED?
If you're ready to learn and incorporate some simple changes into your diet and lifestyle, that's often enough to set you on the right course. It's not unusual for clients to transition into my 12-week nutrition program.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
For $180, I will spend one hour reviewing your medical history and blood work and two hours consulting with you one on one, to make recommendations for you to select healthy food alternatives that can get you on the road to a healthier lifestyle.
Payment is paid in full at the time of the first nutrition consultation.

Exercise & Fitness Consultations
WHAT IS AN EXERCISE & FITNESS CONSULTATION?
An Exercise & Fitness Consultation is an individualized, one on one appointments designed to evaluate your current situation and create a comprehensive program to improve mobility and fitness based on your specific health condition. I will take you through an array of muscle testing to determine range of motion to help create a comprehensive program specific to your needs. Part of my evaluation process incorporates guidelines use from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Heart Association (AHA) providing a basis for your prescribed exercise program.
WHAT TAKES PLACE DURING AN EXERCISE & FITNESS CONSULTATION?
During your Exercise & Fitness Consultation, I will take a brief medical history with an emphasis placed on cardiovascular and orthopedic history. A detailed exercise history will narrow down preferences and current activities.
We will discuss short-term and long-term goals to provide the most appropriate Exercise & Fitness program. All exercise components, guidelines and techniques are explained and demonstrated if needed, for a comprehensive cardiovascular, strength training, and flexibility program.
After completion of the initial consultation, you have the option to sign on for training sessions with me or to work on your own to carry out the plan. You will also have the option to return for scheduled follow-up consultation appointments for continual modification of your exercise and fitness plan. If you feel satisfied with the exercise program, follow-up appointments may not be necessary.
