The true testament of my skills and commitment rests in over 65,000 hours of exercise and fitness programs I developed for clients and facilities throughout the country since 1980.
Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with many celebrities and professional athletes in Los Angeles, California. Some of my work has been featured in magazine and newspaper publications as well as on television and radio. I had the privilege of being a bodyguard for Muhammad Ali when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. In addition, I have done print ad work for Budweiser and Kawasaki as well as appearing in the movie "It's Alive Island of the Alive".
Formerly, as a New York City Correction Officer, I created and designed the "COPE" (Correction Officers Pursuing Excellence) exercise and weight management programs for the officers and staff of the Department of Corrections.
Throughout a long career as a competitive "Drug Free" Powerlifter beginning in 1989, I have earned numerous titles and awards. As of 2018, I have won 3 World Championships and hold 1 World Record. I have won 20 National Championships and hold 11 National records. At the State level, I hold 19 Championships and 13 Records. I was awarded "Best Lifter" at the 2011 World Championships!
March 24th 2019 Mike was inducted into the Strength and Power Hall of Fame!!
